Villa or England?
Liverpool's Jamie Carragher has reopened the club V country debate in his recently-released autobiography after admitting that he'd be more bothered missing a penalty for Liverpool than England.
Add to that England's travelling army suffering from falling numbers and Fabio Capello admitting that he'd prefer to play away from Wembley to avoid the Three Lions faithful's boos and groans.
So what do you think? Would you choose an England victory over Croatia tonight or three points against Tottenham on Monday?

AS much as I would love to beat Spurs on monday, the England Game is more important! It's a World Cup Qualifier, failing to qualify for the world cup would be disasterous for England.
I think what Jamie Caragher said says more about Him personally than footballers as a Whole, some players are more intersted in Club, some Country, you can tell that Becks, and Owen and players like that always put Their Country first.
As for the dwindleing fan numbers, I was at the game 18 months ago (V Andorra) but didn't renew my membership. Thats was for 2 reasons, going to Wembley is just too expensive it was costing me over £100 per home game! compared to about £35 at Old Trafford, theres no Chance of me going to South Africa so there was no point joining the away club, if I can't even afford home games how can I afford away games?
As for the crowd at Wembley, after 2 years of McClarens the fans are unsuprisingly fed up of watching the players underperfom, it's a catch 22 situation, the players are nervous because of the fans, and the fans are nervous because of the players!
England doesn't get important until it becomes a crucial game. Group stage football is crap.
What are you grunting on about Piggy, moo-ve aside for a real Villa fan. Villa are far more important than Eng-er-Lund
No contest - Villa all the way.
Villan is my nationality, Villa Park my home!
I only get excited about England when the big tournaments are on, and only then when I'm in the pub and get caught up in the euphoria.
Villa - I'm always excited about the claret and blue!
But Emma, if we don't win the Qualies then we won't get to the big tournaments, which is why they are important, In the Prem we've got a larger margin of error, losing to Stoke was painfull, but in the long term doesn't dent our top 5/6 ambitions. Howerver for England dropping points can mean the difference between qualifying for the tournament or not, just ask Steve Mac, had we not drawn at home to macedonia we might have scraped through to Euro08
Does that mean that we are going to lose against tottenham now because England won.
You can not have your cake and eat it.....
I have more passion about the Villa, no doubt abot it, my blood is Claret and Blue. Seeing Villa score in the Intertoto cup was certainly more enjoyable than seeing England score last night, and I still jumped around like a loon. I do understand James view that England qualifiers are important. Dont really fancy another summer without being in an international tornament. Last night was the first time I enjoyed watching England for years and now looking forward to the Kazakhstan game.
I actually think Carragher is right in what he says, because if i played for Villa (I can Dream) i would be more disappointed missing a penalty for villa than for England. But ceratin this wouldn't be the case if i played for a different team.
